Expert Training and Experience

The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) is committed to being impartial in their certifications. Therefore, to earn this certification, one must be trained and knowledgeable in all areas of arboriculture. To be eligible for the exam, 3+ years of work experience in the field and/or equivalent education experience is required. With this certification also come a defined code of ethics. You can be sure that your arborist is reliable and credible. Arborists will be proficient in a number of tree related services, such as pruning, trimming, removal, planting, cabling, and more!

The learning doesn’t stop after receiving a certification. Arborists must maintain their credentials with continuing education.
