Our specialized equipment combined with knowledge and experience sets us apart from other “tree guys”. Let the experts at Arborlogical Inc. make your trees beautiful.
Planting
Planting trees in Lakewood and the Front Range is a life-long investment (at least it should be). Climate, soil conditions, site placement, local pest issues, species specific requirements, etc. are all factors in the process. Let us help along every step of the way.
Insect and Pest Control
Borers, mites, aphids, beetles, moths, etc. are constants in Lakewood and the Front Range. Some of these insects are native to our region while others are invasive and relatively new. Our ISA Certified Arborists and Licensed Chemical Applicators are trained to identify and treat these harmful insects while being mindful of beneficial organisms. Our technicians are the best in the business and will recommend the most practical solution to your tree’s issues.
Emerald Ash Borer Treatments
Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) is a hot topic in Lakewood and throughout the Front Range. We offer inspections and preventative treatments for your Ash tree.
Disease Control
Diseases and severe nutrient deficiencies may be hard to diagnose and sometimes even harder to treat. Healthy trees are less susceptible to insect and disease therefore early diagnosis and preventative treatments are best.
Deep Root Fertilization
Deep Root fertilization is a process whereby an applicator pumps our proprietary solution directly into the root zone of the tree. This solution changes seasonally and is designed to replace the natural nutrient recycling process that takes place in a trees native habitat. Deep Root Fertilization is recommended two or three times a year.
Vertical Mulching
Vertical mulching is the same concept as lawn aeration but on a more extreme scale. The technician removes large plugs with an auger throughout the drip zone of the tree. The plug is then replaced with soil amendments and organic material. This allows water and oxygen to penetrate the root zone and allows fibrous roots to colonize.
Root Crown Excavations
Root crown excavations are done by using a specialized high pressure air spade to remove the soil around the base of a tree. This soil is then replaced with organic material and soil amendments to improve uptake and correct nutrient deficiencies.
Join Our Annual Maintenance Program
Arborlogical Inc. offers Tree, Shrub, and Lawn maintenance programs to suit your property’s needs. Let one of our plant health care representatives evaluate your property and custom tailor a program to meet your objectives.
Fertilization is necessary to produce the lush green color we as homeowners have come to expect. With that said, correcting the soil pH and weed control can reduce the fertilization requirements and improve your lawns vigor.
Pre-Emergent Weed Control
Preventing weeds is easier and more effective than post emergent applications. Our pre-emergent applications stop cell division in seeds that have not yet germinated. While this application is not for every property, it is a great way to maintain a lawn that is already in great shape.
Post-Emergent Weed Control
Weed control is simply a part of maintaining a lawn. Our applicators can provide spot applications or we can address weeds on a macro level. Contact one of our lawn care specialists to get your weeds under control.
Fungal Control
Fungal issues can be sudden and extremely detrimental to your lawn. Hot/humid conditions during the summer months are when we tend to see these problems. Should you suspect fungal issues in your lawn call immediately as time is of the essence.
Lawn Mite Control
Winter mites are common in Lakewood lawns. The nature of the mite’s life cycle means that they often go unnoticed until the damage is extreme. If you suspect mites in your lawn, have one of our lawn experts inspect your property.
Grub and Insect Control
Grubs are almost always present in the soil. If you see dying patches in your yard that can be easily pulled up due to lack of root structure, you may have a problem. Grubs are easy to control but grub damage is hard to repair. Call today for an inspection.
Overseeding
Overseeding involves seeding grass directly into your existing turf. Overseeding is most effective when done in conjunction with topdressing and aeration but is also effective as a stand-alone service.
Aeration
Lawn aeration helps to remedy compaction, allowing water, nutrients, and oxygen to penetrate into the root zone. This service is best done twice a year provides a great opportunity to both overseed and topdress.
Topdressing
Topdressing is a process whereby we spread compost, organic matter, and soil amendments over the top of your lawn. This service alters the pH of the soil and allows your grass to access nutrients that were/are otherwise unavailable. Topdressing is often used in conjunction with aeration and helps with overseeding as it allows for better seed to soil contact.
